BASINGSTOKE, U.K. - Oct. 19, 2021 - PRLog -- Sri Lanka has just announced that tourists that are fully vaccinated and who have had a negative PCR test within 72 hours prior to departure will now be allowed to enter the country without having to test on arrival and stay in a quarantine hotel.

This comes on the back of the new rules about no PCR test requirement upon return to the UK. With direct flights between London and Colombo six days a week, and only one PCR test required before departure, Sri Lanka is looking like a very attractive proposition as a winter holiday destination.

Bamboo Travel, one of the UK's leading independent tour operators to Sri Lanka, has reported an increase of over 85% in enquiries on 2019 levels since the announcement was made.

The company offers a choice of 14 recommended itineraries, ranging from 12 to 24 days in duration. One of the tours also features a stay in the Maldives, whilst another includes a visit to Kerala.
