BASINGSTOKE, U.K. - Sept. 2, 2024 - PRLog -- Fleewinter, the independent tour operating company which offers tailor-made holidays to over 60 countries around the globe, has launched a programme to Madagascar.

Located off the south-east corner of Africa, and the fourth largest island in the World, Fleewinter is offering an initial six itineraries, from six to twelve days in duration, and including two luxury sailing holidays.

Comments Robin Swanepoel who created the programme:  "The red earth of Africa courses through my veins, so when my son expressed a desire to visit Madagascar, it was an invitation I simply couldn't refuse.

"Its unique biodiversity, rich culture, and stunning landscapes captivated us. We fell deeply in love with its natural beauty, vibrant traditions, and warm hospitality. And let's not forget the delicious chocolate, vanilla, and rum!

"Each path on this island holds its own story, and we yearn to return and uncover more of its timeless magic, in so doing, I hope to share this passion."

The 13-day Taste of Madagascar (https://www.fleewinter.com/madagascar/a-taste-of-madagascar/) itinerary takes you from the capital, Antananarivo, through tropical rain forests of the east, to Andisabe where lemurs will throw themselves at you for some banana.  Witness essential oil distillation, go for a night hike, and chill out on the deck marvelling at the rainforest.

After returning to Antananarivo, you will journey south to Antsirabe, the industrial and agricultural capital of Madagascar, whereafter you will head to the famed hot springs of Ranomafana.  With the hilltop churches of Fianarantsoa beckoning, you will walk the town's historic streets before watching a magical sunset painting the churches in golden hues.
