KANSAS CITY, Mo.
Plus Linguistic Album Cover
- July 30, 2021
-- Another full-length studio release for the indie rapper-songwriter was co-produced with MCGonTheTrack. Producer 9-0 released an earlier eleven track non-linguistic project in 2021. Now, in August 2021, he is back with a linguistic version for hip-hop fans. The Kansas City producer and entrepreneur has long lamented the lack of success for independent artists. But this project laced with previously released single such as the gangster anthem, G'd Up, the purpose filled Nine Ohhing which has Bishop T.D. Jakes intertwined throughout and Tarantino Hip-Hopping featuring Flint, Michigan MC DJ Spin$. The only issue with the trap influenced project, might me the mixing of the vocals. Producer 9-0 stated, "Wow, wouldn't that be great to have the only issue for an indie artist is needing a better mix?" The rhetorical question/ statement needs no dissecting. Listening to the lyrical excellence of 9-0 makes many statements and question in a perplexing knot for the mainstream hip-hop fan. The surprise of Tupac Amaru Shakur's voice in No Limit East Sizzle and Da Hood Hip-hopping is prophetic and delightful. Yes, 2pac is dead, or is he? The vocals of the hip-hop legend are uncanny. New, original lyrics from Brodie Frank and his impersonation of Tupac will only add to the speculation surrounding his death. Each Brodie Frank Tupac impression influenced track on this project is a definite winner.
Plus Linguistic is a definite lesson to the non-lyrical artist on how to present, deliver and alternate your flow.
