BALTIMORE - July 21, 2021 - PRLog -- The U.S. Congress is considering legislation that will bring new opportunities to the small business and minority business community. In anticipation of the new Infrastructure Bill, U.S. Senator Ben Cardin joins Career Communications Group for a one-hour Town Hall discussion on the bill's impact on the community.

On July 26, 2021, STEM City USA will host a Town Hall meeting to discuss how small businesses and minority businesses can benefit from the Infrastructure Bill, how to increase the workforce pipeline through certification and educational programs, and how to create awareness of the bill's impact. The Town Hall is set to take place in the new "city-in-the-sky" STEM City USA http://stemcityusa.com/.

Senator Cardin will be giving an overview of the Infrastructure Bill and the opportunities that are available for minority business owners. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask Senator Cardin questions relating to the bill and how they can take action to become involved and benefit from this new expansion.

"This is an excellent opportunity to bring an overview of this legislation directly to the underserved communities impacted by the digital divide," Career Communications Group CEO Tyrone Taborn said, "and Senator Cardin has been integral in moving this bill forward in Congress. These moments of expansion often overlook our underserved communities that they directly impact, so we are hoping that by bringing actionable steps on how to get involved we will see more small businesses and minority-owned businesses participate."
