Sometimes a Dash of Love is All You Need
By: TouchPoint Press
Illustrated and written in poetic verse, We Are Family aims to open the conversation on mental illness to children and young adults. Similar to The Princess and the Fog by Lloyd Jones, the child-friendly explanations in We Are Family act as a guide for parents and educators, giving every reader an opportunity to grow their understanding of different mental illnesses.
About the Book
It can be hard to talk about mental illness. Sometimes it is easy to make fun of someone we don't understand. Whether an adult or a child, love can be the perfect supplemental medicine to help those we love. We are all God's sons and daughters. We are family, and family we will stay.
Inside the Book:
● Creative tool for therapists, parents, and educators to explain mental illness to children and young adults
● Signs of mental illness
● Provides a list and links to help resources
