-- Frankfurt-based EdTech startup Udrus, led by CEO and founder Fahed Jaarah, is going online today. The company also announces the closing of its undisclosed pre-seed funding with a valuation of a ten million euros. Udrus app will be available for download in October via the Google Play Store and Apple Store.
Every year, millions of young people face the difficult question of which major at which university is best for them. With thousands of universities and hundreds of thousands of degree programs around the world, it is extremely difficult to choose. It's also not easy for universities to target the best prospective students, especially if they have an international focus. Udrus solves the problem. "Today, we are very excited to make our platform available to all prospective students, and we are confident that it will help us to quickly gain market leadership in student placement, backed by AI, we are personalising the learning outcome for each student, focusing on the wellbeing and soft skills matching of the individual, with the objective of fulfilling the potential of the student so our platform can match the student to the right institution"
said CEO Fahed Jaarah.
Udrus offers prospective international students a platform with detailed information about universities and their study programs. They can be researched and, if desired, Udrus will advise on study decisions and application processes. Those who like can apply immediately to a university via Udrus. The platform enables universities to directly contact ambitious prospective students. In this way, Udrus is revolutionizing the market for the allocation of international study places. Initially, the focus will be on providing European study opportunities to young people in the Middle East. Very quickly, however, Udrus will add India and Pakistan and eventually expand into a global offering.
