A twist on a classic: Rook Coffee's Barrel-Aged New Orleans Style Cold Brew is back

LONG BRANCH, N.J. - June 30, 2021 - PRLog -- Rook Coffee's latest release in their ongoing barrel-aged cold brew program has arrived. Barrel-Aged New Orleans Style Cold Brew is a deliciously bold and boozy twist on a Rook classic, joining a number of impressively unique coffees featured in their ongoing limited reserve program. This edition marks the second barrel-aged release of the year.

This carefully crafted brew begins with Rook's fresh, dark roasted cold brew base beans. The green coffee beans were aged for four months in rye whiskey barrels and were then dark roasted to perfection. From there, they were brewed and blended with chicory into Rook's crowd favorite New Orleans Style Cold Brew, resulting in a bold, flavorful brew. This cold brew is completely all natural and there are no artificial flavors, colorings, syrups or added sugar included.

Barrel-Aged New Orleans Style Cold Brew is enjoyed at its best with dairy or a non-dairy alternative and a touch of sweetener, which helps to bring out the deliciously smooth and boozy notes of dark chocolate and whiskey. Although this cold brew is alcohol free, fans should expect to experience something similar to their favorite coffee-spiked mocktail.
