Red Line Safety Announces Development of Next-Generation Product to Track Firefighters and Monitor Their Health & Wellness

"We are pleased to announce the development of a new, life saving technology for firefighters designed to track their location, monitor and record their exposure to toxic chemicals and their health & wellness. This advanced technology was forged from the ashes of an American tragedy when 19 Hotshots died in Arizona eight years ago today on June 30th, 2013. The lessons learned from that day gave us the inspiration needed to create this first-of-its-kind technology called IMSAFE - Incident Management Situational Awareness Firefighting Equipment" - says Scott Holman, CEO of Red Line Safety

IMSAFE is a multi-platform, data collection and tracking system for first responders that can not only be carried on their gear, but it's available to be used in vehicles and aircraft. All data from these resources is then seen in real-time on our unique, also first-of-its-kind, proprietary dashboard. Having all this information at a mobile command post will allow on-scene incident commanders a level of situational awareness that has never been available to them until now.

"We're currently performing field testing with a miniaturized version of IMSAFE at a Northern California Fire Department. Early reports indicate the technology is exceeding our expectations. We already have one firefighters' life that was significantly impacted by our technology. Some have called that a save; I call it a great example of why our technology is so important " - Scott Holman

Red Line Safety, Inc. is a technology startup based in Greenwood, California that specializes in firefighter safety products. Red Line Safety was incorporated on September 11th, 2018, the 17th anniversary of the largest loss of firefighter lives. It is run by CEO Scott Holman, a Marine Corps Veteran and current Fire Captain with 30 years in the Fire/EMS industry and CTO Dave McGillicuddy, a retired contractor and electrical engineer.
