Follow on Google News | Small, universal and on budget: A new super resolution live imaging add-on deviceTelight LiveCodim launches a new user-friendly, affordable super-resolution live imaging platform, designed to adapt to any standard widefield fluorescence microscope.
By: Telight The new platform promises a high-performance super-resolution that uses unique patented Conical Diffraction Microscopy (CODIM) technology, coupled with widefield and confocal modalities in a seamless, intuitive, user-friendly flow. This allows users to generate high-resolution images and videos while maintaining the integrity of biological samples. This technology - originally designed by Dr. Sirat - shapes optical beams in a way that allows traditional widefield microscopes to generate super-resolved images with minimal photobleaching and phototoxicity. In addition to using cutting-edge imaging techniques, LiveCodim offers an easy-to-use workflow that has already been successfully implemented in a leading research institution – Institut Jacques Monod – and will also soon be included in the imaging platform at Institut Pasteur in Paris, France. On May 26th at 2 PM (CET), Telight will host an online launch of the LiveCodim platform. Anyone interested can join to learn more about the new LiveCodim directly from Tom Sperber (Project Manager), Gabriel Sirat (CSO), and Petr Jaros (Telight, CEO). Registration is free but required and can be completed at the Telight website. LiveCodim has received funding from the European Union s Horizon2020 research and innovation program under grant agreement No. 811988 – LiveCodim End
