PRLog -- Yaw2 was launched on Kickstarter on the 23rd of April by Yaw VR and reached its goal within 3 minutes. The startup company already had a successful campaign in 2018 with their first device, which has become famous for its weird, bowl-alike look. Their new device is anything but weird with its pure and simple, futuristic design. There was a huge hype at the start, caused partly by the early bird pricing starting from 790 dollar - unsurprisingly, that deal was sold out in a matter of seconds. Some of the first comers have even reported that they have experienced substantial outages on the system of Kickstarter at launch time due to the unexpectedly high demand. Yaw VR has closed its first day at 500,000 dollars, which was doubled in a week, and now almost 600 backers are supporting the project. Although there is still a month to go before the campaign ends, these initial numbers raise the question of whether or not this Hungarian startup will emerge as one of the largest players in the motion simulator industry with its new, fascinating device, Yaw2.
