One reason these two populations spend more time online is that they spend more time shopping online. Millennials and Gen Xers spend 50% more time online shopping than their older counterparts: 6 hours versus 4 hours.

And while the stereotype suggests that women shop more than men, the statistics tell a different story. Men spend 28% more than women when it comes to online shopping.
