Reserve early if you plan visiting State and National Parks

State and National Park sites are filling up or at capacity already for Summer

SAN DIEGO - April 1, 2021 - PRLog -- With Spring Break just around the corner and summer quickly approaching, many vacationers will be looking to get outside. State and National Parks are already seeing day passes and campsites filling up for the spring and summer months, so visitors planning an adventure at these locations this Spring Break and Summer are encouraged to make their reservations as early as possible.

Those seeking to be outdoors during the holiday are encouraged to consider visiting on a weekday as they typically see fewer crowds than on the weekends.

Due to the increase in capacity many parks are moving to a shuttle reservation system.  Now you may have to purchase a shuttle ticket to get to the major attractions within the parks.  Check with the parks you are seeking reservations at, to ensure you can visit all the attractions and trails you want.

Parks that are already seeing a high rate of both day use and overnight reservations.  Some park facilities remain closed due to the recent weather, so visitors are encouraged to check with their park before departing.

RV sales and rentals are at an all-time high this year.  Early RV site reservations are a must and many park sites are already sold out.  Not to worry, typically there are many private RV parks near most major parks.  If you want to RV this Spring Break or summer but do not have an RV, you can always rent one.  One of the best sites that have RVs listed nationwide is https://www.theadventuretravelers.com/rent-an-rv

Those visiting state and national parks are encouraged to recreate responsibly and follow posted rules and regulations to ensure safety during the ongoing pandemic, including wearing a mask when inside buildings or when gathered with others. See the online park guidelines to stay safe and healthy. Local and statewide limitations and restrictions apply and can change rapidly. Check social media or call parks directly for updates before traveling.
