Female Rapper Aynjewl Faycc Reports BeatStars Lack of Support to Their Producers

HOUSTON - Feb. 19, 2021 - PRLog -- In 2017 Faycc found a beat on the BeatStars platform and downloaded it for free. She put out the track "I Gut Love" with no intentions of financial gain so that it would be legal to use. The song was so dope, in 2020 Faycc contacted BeatStars to buy the beat in order to officially release "I Gut Love". BeatStars responded with "we do not manage the content on our site".

With that type of response and no remnants of the producer "Antoine" or a beat called "Private Party" to be found on their site, Faycc decided to take the chance and release the track. In the process, she also took out her original use of the "N" word because of the current, intensified controversy.

Her original stance on using the word stems from the bandwagon effect infused in upcoming hiphop. Since the sentence that included the word had a negative vibe and it was not used for a rhyming rhythm, Faycc computed that her art form was not dependent on the "N" word.

The rapper herself said, "Even if all this s*** wasn't going on right now, there are still people that immediately tune out when they hear someone with fair skin use the N-word— no matter how many black babies or friends they gut." A quote from a book she read at about age thirteen summarizes, "words are like swords and if used the wrong way, they do hurt."

Faycc went on explaining how many people are wired in a way that makes them "check out" and that one word can have someone with a narrow mind get really "hung up". She wanted to leave us with this statement: "Me, I'm creative. I'm open to all types of possibilities— especially being poetic and knowing there's more to be found within a basin of words. I love black people, that's why I have embraced the culture since age 9."

What is interesting about the video for "I Gut Love", is that for the first time Faycc teases fans with brief rump shaking. The video was recored in Houston, Texas and Faycc admits it was a little sketchy shaking it in public— alone in a city setting. At the end of the video some local approaches her.
