Invitation to Press Day SRFF 2021 for a preview of the new line-up on February 9

NEW YORK - Feb. 1, 2021 - PRLog -- NEW YORK - SR Socially Relevant Film Festival NY is happy to invite Press and Media Colleagues and friends to its annual PRESS DAY via a Zoom session during which the SRFF 2021 film selection of films, scripts, panels, and events will be unveiled.

When: February 9th, 2021
What time: 2:00 - 3:00 pm
Where: Online via Zoom
(join at 1:45 pm to network and chat informally - presentation starts at 2:00 pm sharp)

SRFF2021 opens on March 15 online and screenings continue all week through March 21. A new section called Life During COVID with films made during the pandemic, on the pandemic, or shot via Zoom comes to complement the usual narrative and documentary features, short films, and scripts this year with themes ranging from Climate Change and sustainability to Human Trafficking, Migration and Immigration, Genocide and Survival, Home and Belonging, Youth and Children, Race and Discrimination, Disability, LGBTQ, Forms of Protest, Empowering women, Indigenous People, and their rights, and more...

All categories compete for major awards, including cash prizes, for best films and script in addition to the Vanya Exerjian Empowering Women and Girls Award across all categories.

Panels on distribution and new online venues, as well as the role of the press and publicity in the successful launch of a film, will also be presented.
