The trip was designed to explore the sublime Annapurna foothills in style, with easy to moderate day hikes over a period of four days, allowing you to enjoy astounding views of the Annapurna Himalaya, and discover quaint mountain-top villages.
Walking from one village to another, the trek follows a well-trodden mountain trail, with a private, experienced mountain guide, for the duration.
The scenic trail follows the course of the pristine Modi Khola River, taking you through rhododendron forests, and with the terraced paddy fields of the Annapurna foothills, the sacred Machhapuchhre (Fishtail Mountain) 6900m, and the towering Annapurna 1 (8,091m) for company en route.
There will also be an opportunity along the way to gain an insight into the everyday life of the local Nepalis, and to learn how Gurung village was turned into an important recruitment hub for the Gurkha regiment.
