"Problems: a paradigm shift in Lean organizations" video now available
The third video, "Problems: a paradigm shift in Lean organizations", part of the Lean Learning Series is now available on-line. It presents a fundamental shift in how problems are framed and who counters problems in Lean organizations.
World-renowned Lean coach and author France Bergeron ponders "why more organizations in Canada don't see the immense power of Lean's scientific management approach is mind boggling". "It never ceases to amaze me", adds Bergeron, "that organizations spend so much money and squander so much effort on approaches that only replicate the same old, same old." Yet, she adds "there is a better way and it's about training each and every person in an organization to solve problems every day so that more and more value flows to customers." The Lean management approach, by focussing on developing problem solvers, "taps into intrinsic motivation" continues Bergeron, "which is proven to create the conditions for a fulfilled workforce, happy customers and sustainable improvement"
