Sunny Singh, Yours Humanly, Named 2020 Threads of Hope Honoree

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - Dec. 29, 2020 - PRLog -- Sunny Singh, founder of Yours Humanly, a global nonprofit that provides children in need access to quality educational programs and equitable resources, has been named a 2020 Threads of Hope Honoree by the San Francisco Bay Area's Diablo magazine. Through his vision, leadership, and tireless acts in service to others, Singh is changing communities for the better in creative and generous ways, notes Diablo magazine. Singh was featured in the December issue of Diablo and showcased live and in a video profile at the Threads of Hope event, held virtually on December 10, 2020.

For 25 years, Diablo magazine has recognized select individuals who provide meaningful and far ranging services to people in need with its prestigious Threads of Hope Award. This year, five local heroes were recognized, including Singh, who founded Yours Humanly in response to his own experiences growing up privileged among the impoverished.

A lifelong advocate for all children everywhere, Singh has dedicated his life to making a difference in the lives of children, with special attention to children in need. He believes that quality education is a basic human right and that every child everywhere should be afforded that right in a safe and nurturing environment. Since 2013, Yours Humanly has served more than 27,000 children in six countries including the United States, Cambodia, India, Nepal, the Philippines, and Haiti.
