Snell & Wilmer's San Diego Office Teams up With SDIC & TCA To Support "Inventors & Investors"

SAN DIEGO - Oct. 16, 2020 - PRLog -- Snell & Wilmer is proud to support the San Diego Innovation Council (SDIC) and Tech Coast Angels (TCA) – San Diego in "Inventors & Investors," a new virtual pitch competition that was held on Friday, October 9, 2020.

Inventors & Investors was created to celebrate San Diego Startup month during the COVID-19 pandemic. Its goal was to expose innovative science-based startups to investors and venture capitalists. The competition, organized by TCA and SDIC, paired 10 finalist companies with coaches to help refine elevator pitches that were then given before a panel of investor judges during Startup Month. Tag-N-Trac, a software company based in La Jolla, was selected as the inaugural winner.

Snell & Wilmer is working with a number of the finalists to develop strategies to protect the finalist companies' valuable intellectual property.
