Autism Friendly Vacations Awarded Hometown Hero Award

MILWAUKEE - Oct. 5, 2020 - PRLog -- Sara Nowacki, owner of Autism Friendly Vacations in Franklin, Wis., has been honored as a Hometown Hero by Modern Woodmen of America. Modern Woodmen financial representative Taren Sartler presented Nowacki with the award.

Modern Woodmen selects winners each year based on citizens that make a difference in their community. The Hometown Hero award entitles the recipient to select a charity and Modern Woodmen will donate in the recipient's honor. Nowacki choose the Autism Society of Southeast Wisconsin.

Nowacki said, "I am grateful to help families who have a member on the Autism spectrum and didn't think they could travel and have the ability to experience a vacation for the first time. I'd like to thank Modern Woodmen and Taren Sartler for this honor."
