Using the medicinal plants and foods found on the 50 acres of Jamaican land she resides on, Wright is developing a range of unique products designed to help her fan's psychological and physical well-being during this difficult time.
"Since the start of the Coronavirus pandemic, I've seen a huge demise in the mental health of my community on social media – it's a tough time for us all, and I wanted to do something to help. Coming from an agricultural family I have always had a love for farming and now seemed the right time to take action" said Wright, who has a collective fanbase of over 35,000 followers on social media.
"There's so much power in a holistic approach to mental health – from brewing Soursop leaves to calm the nerves, to using Moringa for boosting serotonin levels".
Wright, along with co-founder, wellness specialist Ruth Taylor, has developed The Wright Walk, a new lifestyle brand designed to fill women with more than just body confidence and power poses, but the actual steps they need to take control of their own wellbeing.
Wright obtained her agricultural licence as the world went into lockdown, commencing her eco-farming journey by growing a variety of herbs, fruits and plants. Just five months later, she has packaged her products for worldwide consumption, which are available online alongside other brand favourites such as Solgar, Faith In Nature and Dr Bronners.
In the coming months you can look forward to the introduction of even more home grown herbs, supplements, body care, hair care, crystals and healing products, plus an online bookstore perfect for all soul searchers and plant life lovers alike.
