Doncaster Resident, Gill Bentham Nominated for Global Award

DONCASTER, U.K. - June 29, 2020 - PRLog -- Yorkshire —"As If: Steering your Life without Strife, Navigating from Fantasy to Faith and Rising from Delusion into Destiny," written by Doncaster resident, GILL BENTHAM, has been nominated for the Author Academy Award (AAA) honour bestowed for literary merit and publishing excellence in the writing and publishing industry.

BENTHAM's book, an imaginative 21^st Century Pilgrims Progress, entered the award in the Favorite Religious Nonfiction category. In our turbulent times 'As If' offers hope to those tired of spiritual platitudes or hollow success tips. The global pandemic has left many seeking stability, revisiting values, searching for answers and appreciating nature's restful pace. BENTHAM'S book draws on a wealth of observational/reflective commentary as she steers the reader in a near-future retrospective. Effective in handling paradoxes and eternal themes - suffering, failure and betrayal, she grounds the reader in a compelling canal life-journey metaphor.
