Naturhotel Forsthofgut, in Leogang, Austria, re-opens on 29^thMay with protection measures in place. On arrival, guests will be greeted by staff wearing smiling Forsthofgut branded masks or visors. For guests, on request, a Forsthofgut safety kit - face masks, antibacterial gloves and hand-sanitiser spray – will be available. Staff members have undergone a rigorous hygiene training programme, and regular refresher courses will be carried out.

Other measures include:

·       dispensers of hand-sanitising gel strategically placed throughout the resort

·       all surfaces regularly cleaned with organic disinfectant

·       branded hygiene seal will indicate where an area has been freshly disinfected and
       cleaned

·       Europe's one-metre distancing across the hotel's front and back of house operations
       except for waiters serving food and drinks in the restaurants

The restaurant concept remains true to the Forsthofgut ethos: recyclable packaging. sustainability and vegan, local and Alpine menu themes. Breakfast options, presented on a stylish étagère (display platter), are The Classic (local and Alpine products) or The Green (vegan) with an extensive choice of optional extras. The Little Fellow is a dedicated étagère for children. The full afternoon meal - Jause - and dinner including salads are served to order. Snacks will be offered in the bar and the Spa and served individually. There will be no buffet for the foreseeable future and all drinks, including in the Bar, will be served to the table.

Forsthofgut becomes entirely cash-free, thereby reducing physical contact between individuals.  All payments will be processed online. In addition, other hotel transactions such as check-in and reservations will also be done online.

Access via rail to Saalfelden or fly to Salzburg. Double rooms from €190 per adult per night (2 sharing full board, for a minimum of 5 nights).
