Working With Your Hotel and Venue Partners During and Post the COVID-19 Pandemic

DENVER - May 12, 2020 - PRLog -- The COVID-19 pandemic has affected our industry greatly. Going forward, planners and venues will have to work together to ensure safe environments for all participants. It will require major adjusting for everyone involved in the planning and execution of conferences and events.

Eventinterface is hosting a free virtual mastermind meeting on Friday, May 15 at 11:00 a.m. Mountain Time. In this mastermind meeting we will discuss how to best work with your hotel partners on your current events and meetings during this pandemic. We'll have a conversation about the new realities and evolving guidelines by the venues, and how to work with your hotel partners in understanding the impact of these on your future events and conferences. We will address hotel and venue contracts, and how language in these can affect how you deal with future projects.

Our guest speaker is Kate Snapp, Sales Executive with Marriott International. Ms. Snapp is a hospitality veteran of over 30 years, she has worked for three of the most well known, respected, and the largest hotel companies in the world.

She is a top sales performer (recognized 2 of the last 3 years as being in the top 7% in the world within her sales organization); a member of their Business Council, and a trainer and speaker for the company.  In addition to being a leader in the companies she has worked for she is also a leader in the industry and her community.  She is a committee member for Meeting Professionals International and sits on the past president council of Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International.  In her spare time Kate is on the board of four non-hospitality organizations.

Kate has trained and presented to groups of 5-5000.  Currently Kate's primary responsibilities are Total Account Management and Business Development.  The key to her success is and always has been based upon building and maintaining strong key relationships.
