FRANKLIN LAKES, N.J. -
March 28, 2020 -
PRLog -- BrainStorm Tutoring is offering free virtual tutoring for children of health care workers and first responders during the month of April. Any child who has a parent who works in a hospital or clinic, or is a first responder, qualifies for donated tutoring. All tutoring will be conducted remotely.
For 15 years, BrainStorm Tutoring has been the premier network of academic mentors and achievement coaches in northern NJ. Programs include K-12 school subject tutoring, test prep, college admissions coaching, Spanish immersion for youth, specialized academic coaching for students with specific learning needs, and more.
In keeping with its mission of creating outstanding life opportunities for students and their families, BrainStorm is dedicating April to caring for the children of health care workers and first responders as a show of gratitude for their brave service during this difficult time. Free remote tutoring will be available to those children from April 1 through April 30, 2020.
In the event of shortness of BrainStorm's staff to cover demand, priority will be given to workers who specifically are interacting with COVID patients or managing those workers. Additional priority will be given to those working in the NYC metropolitan area, in particular northern NJ.
