We are grateful for all of the support the CLC provides to our school!" said Dr. Emily Miles, Principal of Sterling Elementary. 2019 CLC Impact Summary • More than 6,000 volunteer hours served • 1,307 books given to students • 3,931 Charlotte children served • 48 new coats provided in 2019 to children without a winter coat • Over 600 Visits to the CLC Hubs for hygiene items, clothes, and other basic needs • 865 uniform tops and bottoms provided for students without a uniform to wear to school Along with providing volunteers to maintain the Hubs, volunteers work with school principals and teachers to support their needs, such as providing literacy enrichment through funded author visits and book fair support.
