The MicroEnterprise Institute is a six-week training program to help aspiring entrepreneurs start new ventures or to expand existing small businesses. Graduates complete a comprehensive training course and prepare a solid feasibility plan. They work with mentors who are successful businesspeople, and hear from subject matter experts in areas of accounting, legal, marketing, insurance and funding.
Classes are scheduled from 6 to 9 p.m. on Monday and Thursday evenings at the United Way at 9015 Strada Stell Ct. #204, Naples, FL 34109.
Melissa, a recent MicroEnterprise graduate, said, "It's a very fast paced 6-week course, full of resources and knowledge that can help you manage your business better. All of the material that was given will definitely be put to use!"
