| ![]() RepairDesk POS to launch Payments Module in February 2020A well-known repair shop POS software, RepairDesk, has recently launched the beta version of their payment service, called RepairDesk Payments.
By: RepairDesk RepairDesk CEO and Founder Usman Butt, while highlighting the features of RepairDesk Payments, said, "There will be no monthly fees or contracts for RepairDesk Payments. Users will have to make a one-time payment to acquire the terminal, and will offer a flat processing rate for each transaction in contrast to the variable rate from other processors." On average, store owners will get paid as fast as 2 seconds. Along with faster checkouts, the terminal used with RepairDesk Payments will also support payments through Apple Pay and Google Pay, so repair stores can choose to pay using the built-in NFC reader. "The dedicated terminal will be available at a subsidized cost of $120, which will be a one-time payment. All major credit cards will be supported, with equal rates for each one, so repair stores will not have to worry about choosing one card over the other," added Usman. RepairDesk Payments speeds up cash flow and uses less time to put more money into business accounts. Payments are automatically posted and logged with integrated credit card processing, and there is very little chance of theft. The service will also allow repair stores to add any advertisement photo to the terminal and represent their brand, offer tipping, display work order on it, and take digital signatures. If any business decides to discontinue the RepairDesk Payments service, no cancellation charges will be incurred.
