Certexams.com offers both the products, viz CCNA Netsim as well as Online Labs. The main difference is that the former is a software based tool that simulates iOS with limited functionality. Only the features that are tested in CCNA exam are covered in the simulator where as the online labs use fully functional network devices such as routers and switches, providing real network environment. However, it may be noted that online labs have limited time access where as the simulator license is valid for product life time. Can the online labs be used for new CCNA exam? Yes, you can use the online labs for new CCNA exam. However, we are still in the process of preparing the workbook for new CCNA exam and will be ready by the time the new exam becomes effective. Please note that the current version of CCNA exam (200-125) is retiring by 23rd Feb 2020 and the new exam CCNA 200-301 will be effective from 24th Feb. 2020. It is imperative that those in middle of CCNA 200-125 complete the cert by the deadline. As per the official website, it is not possible to take 200-125 exam after the deadline.Also note that CCENT and ICND2 are also retiring by 24th Feb and one needs to finish any of these exams by the deadline. Those who have already completed have time till 23rd Feb 2020 to achieve CCNA certification by completing CCNA ICND2 exam.
