Follow on Google News | Eight InsuranceHub Team Members Receive Coveted TRS DesignationAccount Executives and Members of the Leadership Team at Tech-Driven Insurance Agency Add Transportation Risk Specialist™ to their Growing List of Accomplishments
By: InsuranceHub Lee LeBaigue - Vice President Chrisann Richards - Vice President Kristina Insley - Associate Vice President Ed Hemmer - Associate VP of Transportation Markita Hodge - Sr. Account Executive Robyn Roberts – Sr. Account Executive Richard Turner - Account Executive Monica Lott - Account Manager To achieve this designation, participants must either complete a 20-hour online course and pass the test or take part in a face-to-face 16-hour Basic Insurance for Motor Carriers and pass the test. After completing those requirements, participants must also take part in two additional 16-hour courses on Advanced Underwriting and Advanced Coverages. The hard won TRS Designation recognizes that the participant has an in depth understanding about the motor carrier industry, as well as the motor carrier's insurance needs. In addition to taking part in educational classes and demonstrating a level of understanding by passing tests, designees must have provided services to the motor carrier industry for at least two years. TRS designee and Associate Vice President for InsuranceHub, Kristina Insley, had this to say about the designation, "I am proud to be among eight members of the team at InsuranceHub to receive my Transportation Risk Specialist designation. My fellow TRS designees and I will now be recognized in the industry as agents who have taken the time to train and dive deeper on the nuances and pitfalls of writing trucking insurance." To maintain their TRS Designations, InsuranceHub staffers will need to attend one of these face-to-face programs every two years: Advanced Underwriting, Advanced Coverages or Annual Conference. They could also take part in three of the four online advanced webinars to achieve their two-year update, but this option is only available once every four years.
