Panther Entertainment Group Produces the "Lunchroom" a Live Virtual Reality Showcase at A3C Festival

ATLANTA - Oct. 1, 2019 - PRLog -- Panther Entertainment Group will host a live music showcase with a virtual reality experience on October 11, 2019. The showcase will take place a Veteran's Memorial Hall 30 Courtland ST Atlanta, GA 30303 at 8pm. The showcase will also include a media lounge and gifting suite powered by RSG and Haute Choc'lat Multimedia Group.

PEG is partnering with A3C for the third year in a row. "Panther Entertainment Group" is the inaugural chapter of NCEG located at Georgia State University. The goal of PEG is to provide real opportunities for college students seeking to enter the music industry.  As a demonstration of their support for the GSU program, A3C will be sending an additional thirty (30) of our PEG members to the A3C conference free of charge.

ABOUT THE VIRTUAL REALITY EXPERIENCE

A large part the mission to educate students introducing them to the various ways in which music can be utilized in the entertainment industry. As a result, they've also decided to partner with the Creative Media Industries Institute (CMII) of Georgia State University to assist the students in producing an immersive virtual reality short film featuring the same performing artists from the live show.

The purpose is to challenge students to adapt their experiences and talents to emerging technology and create new content to promote the show.

The result was a comedic re-creation of a common high school experience: the lunchroom cypher; where high school students make drumbeats utilizing pencils, pens, and tabletops while others gather around to freestyle.

Utilizing the Oculus Go, Facebook's newest development for affordable VR, attendees of this A3C event will be introduced to the students in a virtual environment that will allow them to sample each artist's lyrical style.
