Jonathan Consalvo awarded the 'Excellence in Finance - Leaders' award at FiNext Orlando

ORLANDO, Fla. - Sept. 22, 2019 - PRLog -- Jonathan Consalvo was awarded the Excellence in Finance - Leaders award for their significant contribution towards the financial sector at FiNext Conference 2019, held at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress, Orlando, Florida.

Jonathan joined Oxygen (getoxygen.com) in January 2019, and is currently the Chief Compliance Officer. He is responsible for the company's Compliance Management System (CMS), which involves an integrated compliance framework for Oxygen's consumer and commercial product set – entailing both checking and savings accounts, as well as lending products.

Prior to Oxygen, Jonathan spent eight years at Treliant Risk Advisors and is an experienced regulatory compliance professional who has consulted for regulatory agencies, international banks, non-bank financial services providers, established fintechs and burgeoning startups. He has advised clients on the implementation of compliance management systems and the design and execution of regulatory compliance training programs. His time at Treliant involved the drafting of institution-specific policies and procedures, conducting regulatory compliance audits and compliance risk assessments, and evaluations of corporate governance structures.

Jonathan has performed in-depth market research and analysis for the mortgage industry, including the determination of fair market pricing for appraisals and title services. He was an annual contributor to the American Bankers Association's (ABA) Reference Guide to Regulatory Compliance from 2015 through 2017. He has also co-authored a whitepaper, Banking on Women, for the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), regarding financial inclusion of women small-business owners and obstacles banks must overcome in serving them better. His most recent publication in Fintech Futures focuses on the compliance aspect within the relationship of fintechs and banks. Jonathan received an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley Haas School of Business and holds a B.A. in Political Economy from Tulane University. He is also a Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM).
