White Lion Treasures expects to roar from new location

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Sept. 2, 2019 - PRLog -- White Lion Treasures, a locally owned vintage collectible and handcrafted retail business, announced today that they will be moving from their Czech Village location of almost 6 years early this fall.

Owner Michelle Bell, a proud Cedar Rapidian with genealogy dating back to her Great-grandfather who was on the planning committee that placed our government's offices on Mays Island, will be taking over ownership of a building that has been in her family for over two decades. Her mom, Nancy Churchill, opened and operated Westside Hair Design hair salon in that SW Cedar Rapids location since 1987. In addition to the street level retail space, Bell has plans to renovate the upstairs apartment into an Airbnb once the current tenant's lease is up.

"I feel like the location across from the beautiful McGrath Amphitheatre is a prime location for a business like ours and a new Airbnb." Shared Bell. "I am excited to carry on the legacy my mom has built in this location over the past two decades. Her long-time customers have become like family to us and I am hoping they will stop by and see us."

The unique consignment store features vintage items, collectibles, recycled furniture and other crafts, handmade items, and home decor created and sold by a variety of vendors. "Our top vendors will be relocating with us, but you can expect more of the same high quality finds in addition to new items and refreshed displays. Be sure to stop in, I am sure you will find that perfect treasure you have been looking for."

Customers are encouraged to stop by the store in their current location 87 16th Ave SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404 between September 1st to September 19th as they will be having a moving sale with up to 75% off. Customers are invited to attend the open house at the new location 226 5th Avenue SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404 on October 1st. An official Grand Opening and ribbon cutting event will be announced for Spring of 2020. The store wants to get through the busy holiday season and then celebrate with customers.
