-- Chase Dudley's latest film BEASTS OF THE FIELD is making its World Premiere at the E-Town Film Festival in Kentucky—which is making its own premiere as well. This is the inaugural year for the festival. A total of 17 films will be screened, including BEASTS, which was shot in Kentucky in the summer of 2017.
BEASTS OF THE FIELD tells the story of a delusional cryptozoologist (played by Blair) who, with his paramour and business partner--a psychopathic television presenter--leads an expedition into dangerous wooded terrain to search for a legendary creature. Amber Dawn Fox, Tory L. Beckham, Savannah Schafer, Keith Nicholson, Patrick Alred, and Ashley Mary Nunes make up the motley crew that finds much more than they bargained for, leading to terror, chaos and death.
"The goal of The E-Town Film Festival is to encourage and support newer filmmakers in the hopes they become the established filmmakers of tomorrow," said Rick Roman, theater operator for Crowne Pointe Theatre. "We want to help filmmakers and give our movie-goers the opportunity to see the work of new filmmakers."
BEASTS OF THE FIELD is a Cut to the Chase Production and screens at the festival on September 13th at 06:30pm, September 14th at 03:00pmand September 15th at 01:30pm. All times are EST. Tickets are $5 for each day of shows. For more information, call 270-600-0090.
