TEMECULA, Calif. - Aug. 14, 2019 - PRLog -- TEDxTemecula, an independently organized TEDx event, announces this year's annual conference returns to the Old Town Temecula Community Theater on September 28, 2019. For the eighth consecutive year, the conference brings together the brightest minds of our community for a one-day conference to share ideas on health, education, technology, the arts, and more.

This year's theme focuses on creating an ElevaTEDxperience for attendees, promising delight and inspiration with surprising ideas, performances, and audience experiences.

"We were genuinely inspired by the speakers," said an attendee from last year. "What a pleasure that the speakers were not professionals! Their stories were personal, touching, heartfelt and ran the gamut of human emotions and experience. We laughed, we cried. We lived the human experience through those experiences of these same speakers. The young ones, the mature ones. All were very touching."

Other attendees said about the event: "Good food, superb wine, lovely weather and a great little playhouse all lent to the ambiance of the event," and "I wished the day went on and on. Inspiring and thought provoking. Looking forward to the next one."

"An event that inspires the world," one more attendee said. "TEDxTemecula is a world class event."

The TEDxTemecula mission is to bring together the valley's brightest thinkers, performers, and visionaries to explore what's possible in the community and beyond. The annual event is a four-hour live presentation showcasing artists, musicians, innovators, and thought leaders. The talks are filmed and posted to the TEDx YouTube channel for the world to see.
Last year, seven local speakers presented thought-provoking talks to a full house at the Old Town Temecula Community Theater.

Asked why local businessman Jim McLaughlin founded TEDxTemecula in 2012, he said, "It fits within my mission to elevate the conversation happening in my communities – to have people talking less about what's wrong and more about what's possible."

"Over the years, we've observed the audience and the speakers' delight during and after the event. It truly is an elevated experience!" said McLaughlin.

About TEDx, x = independently organized event
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TED Talks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized. (Subject to certain rules and regulations.)
