New Service for the Elderly and their families

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - May 5, 2020 - PRLog -- Making decisions with your elderly parents just got easier with the opening of MEAH Health Navigation. MEAH was designed to help families live their best lies and keep elderly parents at home longer, safer and with dignity by linking together their whole health story.

MEAH, founded by Melissa Mehrlich- a nurse of over 21 years, and Leah Maul, who has a degree in Gerontology and years of experience in healthcare, was created to help clients and families spend quality time together by lessening the concerns over health and safety in the home.

"I watched my own grandmother decline, and experienced, first hand, the challenges related to her health and the pressure it put on my family. Navigating healthcare and the many decisions was stressful and confusing. We created MEAH to provide help for families in this type situation," says co-founder Melissa Mehrilich, MSH, RN.

Services include: Care Navigation, Education and Advocacy, Home Safety, and their list of Preferred Partners. To get a clearer understanding of your loved one's health and create a detailed plain going forward, MEAH Health Navigation is the service to meet those needs.

"I experienced confusion and frustration when my father-in-law's health declined. There were many painful decisions, and I could have really used a service like MEAH. We want to coordinate care and help families collaborate with their physicians and other providers to navigate an easier path," says co-founder Leah Maul, MBA BA Gerontology.
