City Barbeque celebrates 20 years with award-winning brisket

When the first City Barbeque opened its doors in 1999, the centerpiece of the menu was the brisket, a recipe that took first place in the American Royal World Series of Barbeque Invitational. Today, teams in every City Barbeque prepare it the same way, every day: each brisket is hand-rubbed with the joint's signature dry rub, smoked over local hickory wood for up to 18 hours, and carved to order.
