Fishman & Associates Hires Mary Silverstein as Vice President Finance

VENICE, Fla. - May 22, 2019 - PRLog -- Fishman & Associates recently hired Mary Silverstein as Vice President of Finance. She's an accomplished financial executive with more than 30 years of experience in all areas of finance, accounting and treasury. Prior to moving to Sarasota from Atlanta in 2018, Mary spent 10 years as the treasurer for a private auto insurance company. She also worked 13 years with The Honey Baked Ham Company in multiple roles including corporate controller, treasurer, and director of financial planning, analysis and reporting.

Fishman & Associates provides food service design to diverse clients nationwide including assisted living and retirement centers, healthcare facilities, hotels, hospitals, schools, restaurants, country clubs, churches, clubhouses, resorts and more. The Venice, Florida based company has expertise in food service design, kitchen, bar and dining room layout, equipment specification, cost budgeting, refrigeration, and fabrication for new and remodeled food service facilities.

Mary's comprehensive background includes mergers and acquisitions, systems conversions, cash management, investments, pricing, financial planning and analysis, reporting, accounting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. She earned a BBA in Finance from Emory University and a MBA from Duke University. She's a Certified Treasury Professional and some of her other interests include golf, biking and travel.
