Shreyas Shipping and Logistics Ltd (Member of Transworld Group) won the prestigious India CSR award

MUMBAI, India - April 12, 2019 - PRLog -- Transworld Group Corporate Responsibility (CR) team participated in the "India CSR Network Summit and Awards 2019" at New Delhi on the 1^st of April and won the prestigious India CSR award in the category of 'Community Development' and in the domain of disaster relief for our concerted efforts in Kerala. We effectively reached out to over 5000 flood-affected people in the districts of Alleppey, Wayanad, Palakkad and North-Paravur in Kerala through the mediums of disaster relief kits, health camps and reconstruction of damaged schools, anganwadis and individual households.

We have joined our hands with District Collectorate Alleppey for flood relief. Our Cochin team provided disaster relief support to flood-hit victims in central Kerala. During this period, the team worked tirelessly in procuring and packing essential supplies such as groceries, garments and wash kits for displaced families living in relief camps. The Transworld Group is facilitating the movement of the relief material to Kochi free of cost.
