AFEA Expands by Adding Chapter in Rocky Mount, NC

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - April 11, 2019 - PRLog -- The American Financial Education Alliance (AFEA) is dedicated to providing financial education and increasing financial literacy within communities all over the country. Today, the Board of Directors has chosen to continue to do just that, by unanimously voting Tony Engrassia as the new Chapter President of AFEA's Rocky Mount, NC, #4670 chapter.

Tony Engrassia is the founder of Wealth Management Strategies, Inc., a fee-based financial planning and wealth management firm serving the Rocky Mount, NC and surrounding areas.  He specializes in providing tax-efficient strategies for preserving and growing family wealth.

Tony has earned designations as a Charter Financial Consultant (ChFC), Certified Financial Fiduciary (CFF) and is a Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF).  His memberships and achievements include:

• Rocky Mount Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (RMAIFA): has held offices of President, and Area Vice President and was on the Membership Committee
• The Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT): has earned both prestigious Court of the Table and Top of the Table recognitions and has been a volunteer in many different areas for the organization.
• Nash Rocky Mount Rotary: has held offices of president and also of District Chairperson for the Rotary Youth Leadership Association (RYLA)

Tony frequently conducts seminars on financial and estate planning strategies, as well as other topics concerning accumulating and managing wealth.  A featured speaker for many local civic organizations and clubs, he is also recruited for speaking throughout the country for many industry and company training programs.

Tony is a monthly contributor for a local newspaper, writing articles of interest to seniors. In addition to local press, Tony has also been published and presented in various magazines and newspapers.

Tony is a co-author of the book, Promises Kept, 12 true short stories of how wise financial planning with a trusted advisor prior to an unforeseen tragedy made a significant impact in the lives of 12 families.

Tony has made the Rocky Mount area his home for more than 27 years.  Tony enjoys golfing, hunting, fishing, training his dogs, watching hockey and spending time with his wife, Marie, and their three children, DJ, Anthony and Jessica
