The New Paltz Historical Society Presents An Evening of Videos With A Local Connection

BEACON, N.Y. - March 13, 2019 - PRLog -- New Paltz is a mecca for outdoor recreation. Art is everywhere you look. They are the inescapable twin towers that characterize, if not define, our community.

Videographer Gerry Pallor and cameraman / photographer Stephen Bell have been documenting these activities and the people who make them happen since the 1970's. Their work has been seen on broadcast and cable television worldwide. Their videos can be found on the internet, most notably on the RadXSports YouTube Channel. (http://www.youtube.com/radxsports)

Now, for the first time locally, the New Paltz Historical Society is presenting an evening with the two artists. The evening will include the first local screening of "Stone Wallah" a half-hour video about Opus 40. It covers the heroic effort devoted to repairing this extraordinary work of art after the damage caused by Hurricane Irene in 2011.

They will also show shorts selected by the audience from an extensive menu and the filmmakers will answer questions and discuss their work.
