WILMINGTON, Del. - March 10, 2019 - PRLog -- All-City Classic 302 Legends Basketball League kicked off in 2015 and quickly became a fixture on the Delaware Basketball circuit. It was created with a vision to bring back the rich tradition of professionalism and competitive spirit for players 30 & over in the Tri-State area, that has been lost in recent times.

With the upcoming 2019 Spring Season fast approaching, the league was looking to expand with a new change in direction. Founder/commissioner Gerald Wilmore, brought on Elisa O'Keefe-Smith (co-founder of The Alumni League) as VP and director of marketing.

Located in Wilmington, DE, All-City Classic 302 has teams from Delaware, Maryland, and Philadelphia including teams from South Philadelphia and Chester, an outer Philly suburb. The league is comprised of players harking back to the 90s and early 2000s, and rivalry will be fierce, with current and former overseas pro-players, domestic pro-players, and former college stars amongst the competitors (including Darrel Lewis, Corey Bethea, Evan Martin, & Earl Pettis, Tail Davis, Solo Shaw, Ray Strickland, Wendell Young, Blake Saunders, Andre Saunders, Jimmie Greeno, Levi Lemar, James Pope, and Dwight Bishop II to name a few).

Games will held at Hicks Anderson Gym located at 501 N. Madison St, Wilmington, DE. The facility boasts a full NBA-size court and shot-clock on hand. Player statistics will be tracked, with accumulated statistics tallied and published weekly. Sponsors to be announced shortly.

The opening day schedule lineup on March 24 is as follows:
- Team Luke's vs. Eastside
- Noble Nine vs. Diamond State Warriors
- RBCBL/Sth Philly vs. Clay City
- Free Agents vs. Chester

Exciting events throughout this coming season include an All-Star Championship, a double header basketball event on April 19th, with a Delaware All-Stars team competing against a Philadelphia team put together by ex-NBA star player, Flip Murray. Location to be announced this week.

Founder and Commissioner, Gerald Wilmore noted, "All-City Classic 302 was created with a vision to continue the rich tradition of basketball competition for players 30+ in the Tri-State region. There is an untapped desire amongst many players, to continue to play at a high competitive level, without being pro, well into their 30s and even 40s. We seek to fill that void." Wilmore is a Thomas McKean High alumni himself, as well as being a former college basketball player with Delaware Tech. He has managed some of the top basketball leagues and programs out of Delaware for over 10 years.

New VP and head of marketing, O'Keefe-Smith added "What a year. I was proud of the work I did with The Alumni League, and while there are ongoing business issues to be resolved, I am grateful for this wonderful opportunity with All-City Classic 302. The players are amazing athletes, and I look forward to bringing some star recognition (on a local Tri-State scale) to some of the players, as their athleticism is definitely something to be recognized." O'Keefe-Smith is a Marketing major herself, holding an MBA and working towards completing a doctoral degree.  Founder of 3 brands and creator/host of a multi-award winning Web TV Talk Show called Diva Docs, amongst several other ventures, she brings much of her marketing knowledge to the table with All City Classic 302 Legends League.
