BUNNELL, Fla. - March 5, 2019 - PRLog -- It was announced last week that John D. Fie, Jr. would be leading the way by donating copies of his Western novels to help raise money for a very worthwhile charity—Lonesome Dove Rescue, Inc. This comes at a time when the Dusty Saddle Publishing hitmaker has already scored two consecutive top thirty Western bestsellers in 2019, and now feels he wants to pass on his good luck to a charity. "I feel it's important to pay forward your success," Fie explained last week. "I got together with Cherokee Parks, who has been having great success with his latest release 'No Town For Outlaws,' and Juliette Douglas who has been riding high with her hit 'Bed of Conspiracy,' and discovered that we all felt the same way. We all decided to donate our books to this great cause."

Fie explains, "Lonesome Dove Rescue is a livestock rescue in Kiowa, CO. Their mission is to save unwanted horses through education. The charity believes that knowledge helps us learn to understand our animals and therefore enables us to build lasting relationships with our equine partners."

The charity has two exciting programs lined up for 2019.

"Their hope," Fie continued, "is to get volunteers and support with sponsors for the horses who are being trained for their very, very important programs. To help keep these programs going with medical care, feed, and insurance which all is very costly, as you can imagine."

You can learn more by visiting the Lonesome Dove Rescue website at www.lonesomedoverescue.com and from the website, you can click onto their Facebook group for updates on clinics and events.  They also have a PayPal set up for those who wish to donate.

"I urge people to take this chance to make a difference," Fie said. "Sometimes you've just got to do your bit for the world."

You can also learn more about John D. Fie, Jr. by visiting his author page on Amazon where you can pick up copies of his books. You can also learn more about Juliette Douglas and Cherokee Parks from Amazon, where their latest Western titles are available for purchase.
