PRLog -- The Veteran Mentored Action Plan (V-MAP), a new program released by Veteran Today, guides military veterans through a comprehensive self-development and wellness journey supported and leveraged by their chosen mentors.
As our American heroes return from military service and reintegrate into the community, they face many challenges. There are many programs for veterans that address individual segments of their lives, and most do it very well. But in response to expressed needs, Veteran Today has developed a comprehensive whole-life approach to identifying and developing a broad range of wellness needs and integrated them within a plan supported by mentors.
Veteran Today (www.VeteranToday.org)
is making this new V-Map program available to veterans and leaders in three specific ways. A veteran or service member can attend a V-MAP workshop in their local area, the veteran can engage in the online mini-course at the Veteran Today website, and veteran services leaders can take the train the trainer workshop to provide the services to veterans at their local Veterans' Services Organization.
Leaders are encouraged to check their calendar and make plans to offer the two-day workshop for veterans at their post or in their area. Or posts and commands can bring Veteran Today in to train their staff so that they can provide these workshops.
