SEM Link Partner's for Children's Museum of Atlanta Family Free Day

ATLANTA - Feb. 11, 2019 - PRLog -- Science, Engineering and Mathematics Link Inc. (SEM Link) has been selected as one of the nonprofits to serve as a partner in the Family Free Day hosted by the Children's Museum of Atlanta (CMOA) on Wednesday, February 13^th from 10:00 am- 6:30 pm. Family Free Day is a special opportunity for the community to bring their children to Children's Museum of Atlanta and experience the Museum for free. Free admission is made possible through the generous support of PNC Bank and Coca-Cola and is also supported by Care Source.

SEM Link is a participating in this event as a part of its Math and Science Career Academy programs. This program engages youth in hands on STEM activities in their classrooms, communities and out of school time programs. The event takes place, the week prior to National Engineers Week, therefore SEM Link staff and volunteers will engage families in hands on activities that introduce kids to engineering and physics. "The Children's Museum of Atlanta is known for its great programs and events to encourage a love for learning for children ages  0-8. We are so excited to be selected as a partner for this event, to get kids excited about and exposed to STEM at an early age" stated Ms. Tokiwa T. Smith, SEM Link Founder and Executive Director.
