UMCM Suncoast Announces Two New Board Members

LARGO, Fla. - Feb. 12, 2019 - PRLog -- UMCM Suncoast has added two new board members to its Board of Directors. Board members govern and provide insight and oversight on fundraising, programs and overall strategy for UMCM Suncoast (UMCM).

John T. Johnson, MPA, is Associate Director at USFSP's Office of Research. In this capacity, Mr. Johnson supports the research mission at USF St. Petersburg including assisting with the submission of grants to external funders and providing expertise on external related funding matters. He is also Vice President of the Historic Old Northeast Neighborhood Association (HONNA) and previously served on the leadership committee of an oncology camp sponsored by the American Cancer Society.

"I look forward to using both my professional experience and educational background in support of UMCM. It is a really exciting time for this organization and it is my hope that I will be able to help support the growth and success of UMCM Suncoast!" says Mr. Johnson.

Gayoung Kim, SHRM-CP, is an Human Resources Business Partner at Raymond James Financial. She supports several business lines in achieving objectives through investing in their people. She is also on the Leadership board for an Emerging Professionals Network at her firm, and enjoys being involved in her community.

"It's exciting to bring my HR knowledge to UMCM Suncoast and help the organization grow and become recognized as a model of excellence for all the comprehensive services and programs offered," says Ms. Kim.
