| The Cohesive Workplace: Training employees to succeed at home and in lifeThe new startup assists staff in honing skills to succeed far beyond the workplace
"In meeting folks in various positions, it's obvious many are unhappyp with their positions, which negatively translates to the consumer," she says. "I started The Cohesive Workplace as a way to assist in honing their skills and discussing ways to balance work and home life. This assures more productive workers, and, ultimately happier customers." Brown's background in the office environment has allowed her to see the best and the worst of workers in the office environment. "When you get to the core of it, customer service and meeting the public is an honorable position. I believe we [society] haven't put as much emphasis on great customer service as we should and unfortunately, many workers feel underappreciated while feeling overworked. Many now are apathetic in their roles. "We're changing that." Brown's trainings and workshops are interactive and exciting, bringing new challenges AND rewards, which she says makes the difference in learning in today's culture. "In today's climate, many people utilize social media, while at the same time, forgetting how to relate face-to-face. We're going back to the basics; we're actually emphasizing the 'social' aspect of social media, which is often overlooked. "The Cohesive Workplace trains to reach the core of the student, getting to the heart of the matter, bringing more flair to the learning process and making it exciting for our participants." The Cohesive Workplace offers training for front line personnel, such as: receptionists; To reach Judith Brown for a consultation, she can be reached at 717.510.0509 or via email at jbrown@tcworkplace.com.
