Lakeside Recognized as One of Canada's Most Admired Corporate Cultures for 2018
Lakeside was first recognized by Waterstone Human Capital as one of Canada's Most Admired Corporate Cultures in 2013. Employing over 300 people across Manitoba and Ontario, Lakeside's leadership team firmly recognizes the importance of facilitating an environment that provides its employees with work-life balance and the opportunity for continued career development, in order to enhance organizational performance to better serve their customers and the local community.
"This award truly recognizes the enthusiasm and passion our employees bring to work each and every day, and it has led to our continued success", said Greg Houston, President and CEO of Lakeside.
Lakeside was nominated to participate in the program in early 2018. The competition included surveying Lakeside employees and a comprehensive written submission explaining the company's programs and initiatives that was judged on a national level in an evaluation assessing six areas — vision and leadership, recruitment and hiring for fit, cultural alignment and measurement, retention, rewards and recognition, organizational performance and corporate social responsibility.
