Apex Dental annual "free dental day" - October 19th, 2018

DES MOINES, Iowa - Oct. 17, 2018 - PRLog -- On Friday October 19th, Apex Dental in West Des Moines will host their annual community free dental day known as "Operation: Give Back".

The team at Apex Dental will be providing free fillings, cleanings, and extractions all day from 8am-5pm. Apex Dental is located at 1903 E.P. True Pkwy in West Des Moines, and they encourage patients to arrive early in the day to reserve their spot.

The community "free" dental day began in 2011 and this will be the 7th annual event. Over the years it has grown to treat 75-100 patients in one day.  Apex Dental's commitment to help the Des Moines Community is strong, and the entire team believes it is important to give back to the community.

"Operation: Give Back is a day we look forward to each and every year. As one event ends the planning for the next begins.  We're blessed to have the opportunity to help out those in need through this project.  We really enjoy meeting and interacting with the patients. I'm always so impressed with how appreciative everybody is, and it has opened my eyes to the need for access to dental care in our area," said Dr. Brad Richtsmeier.

Also, a special thanks to Brett Drea who always makes sure the team has extra sterilizers and equipment needed to accommodate the increased volume of patients, and to the team of volunteers for their help to give patients another reason to smile!
