Thrive Events, Inc Attends Phoenix Design Week

TEMPE, Ariz. - Oct. 9, 2018 - PRLog -- This past weekend, Thrive Events, Inc  attended the Phoenix Design Week Conference at the Phoenix Convention Center,  allowing our coordinators to think outside the box and see what innovations we can utilize.

"I had no idea what the conference was going to be about. I mean you think design is just one simple subject," said Brittany, a project director at Thrive Events, Inc . "I walked out with so much more knowledge of the world of design- not just the what, but the why and the hows."

From the main speakers to the breakout sessions, we learned so much from topics ranging from social media and blogging from Lorena Garcia from The Bloguettes to using cultural research to design from Melissa McMullen an assistant professor at Trinity University.

The favorite experience and maybe because it is where we get really comfortable, was sitting down with the vendors. We were able to build such a great relationship with the small business owners and learn about  their heart hustles.

"Design week is magical place to network," said Brittany. "These are faces we don't typically see in our field so this was a great chance to get outside our box and focus on community over competition for us designers."

Phoenix Design Week was celebrating their 10^th year and we look forward to seeing what this community builds upon for next year.
