Ewing Moving & Storage Returns to South Memphis & Celebrates with the Community

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Sept. 19, 2018 - PRLog -- Ewing Moving & Storage, Inc. is inviting the community to help celebrate its new location at 1814 S. Third St. The Grand Opening and Community Celebration is Saturday, September 29^th from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. This FREE family-friendly event has something for all ages. The festivities will include a ribbon cutting, car show, food trucks, live entertainment, a mini health fair, dunk tank, bounce house, face painting for children and more. A portion of the proceeds from the car show will be donated to the Lupus Foundation of Memphis.

The new facility has 102,437 sq. ft. of office and warehouse space and sits on 10 acres of land, which was the catalyst for the company's transition back to South Memphis, not far from their first location. According to the Founder & CEO, Charles L. Ewing, Sr., the change was prompted by the need for more space.

"Our company is growing. With the increase in personnel, we needed additional office space. Here, we have offices in the main building and the warehouse. So, there is plenty of room to operate. Myself and the staff are quite pleased," said Ewing. "We decided to celebrate with a multi-faceted event and invite the community because this is a homecoming of sorts. We opened our first office in 1991 on 827 S. Main, and we were there for 10 years. The growth we experienced while there was tremendous. I look forward to celebrating our new home with our friends, family and neighbors. Everyone is invited!" said Ewing.
